HOUSEKEEPING /LAUNDRY & MAINTENANCE
The Elms provides a clean and home-like environment with a fully staffed Housekeeping and Laundry Department. We receive compliments daily on the cleanliness of our facility.
The Elms Laundry Department operates 6 days a week. All residents personal clothing are cleaned at The Elms.
The Elms Maintenance Department consists of three full-time employees who are experienced in everything from grounds keeping to refrigeration, plumbing and electrical operations.
BUSINESS OFFICE
The Elms Business Office is open 5 days a week. Our experienced staff is there to answer all your questions regarding the Medicare and Medicaid Programs.
BEAUTY SHOP
The Elms “ Curly Cue” Beauty Salon is staffed with a licensed beautician and open 2 days a week.
FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT
We make it our priority to make your dining experience as much like home as possible.
We have two dining rooms to help accommodate our residents' independence or special needs.
Three nutritious meals along with snacks are provided daily. In addition to our daily menu items there are many optional substitutes. From their tables, residents can choose items from salad cart that serves both dining rooms.
Our residents, with doctor’s approval, have less restricted diets. When able, they can continue making their own choices in their day to day living just as they would in their own home.
Families or other guests may eat with their resident if they wish for any meal - breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Elms will provide space for special parties that families may want to hold (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)
Our staff consists of a Certified Dietary Manager/Certified Food Protection Professional, a Registered Dietician Consultant, experienced cooks, and food service workers, all of whom have many years of experience to help make your loved one's experience the best it can be.
